POINTS OF TOURIST INTERES

Proaza is an ideal terrain for hiking and for all kinds of activities in nature. The Trubia River and the green and leafy landscapes that compose it make it the mecca of hikers and cyclists.

The village of Banduxu is an exceptional example of an Asturian village that has preserved its essence and medieval charm over time.

Santo Adriano is the gateway to the Trubia Valleys and the Bear Path. In this region there is the pre-Romanesque temple of Santo Adriano de Tuñón, a point of tourist interest for all those who love history.

Prize Exemplary Village of Asturias 2013, Teverga has been inhabited since prehistory and as a testimony are the Coats Rupestres of Fresnéu. It is located within the Natural Park of Las Ubiñas-La Mesa, offering visitors great natural landscapes.

The wealth of its prehistory is evident in the Neolithic tombs and dolmens of Alto La Cobertoria and Prau Llagüezos, while among its historical remains are its many churches, mansions, Alba Castle or its hermitages.

Its historical importance is confirmed through the numerous and forceful buildings of medieval origin such as the palace of Villanueva, the castle of San Cucao or the palace house of Villabona.

It is the capital of Asturias and is known for its medieval old town, where you will find the Gothic Oviedo Cathedral, the Archaeological Museum of Asturias or the Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias that includes 2 palaces and has an extensive collection of Spanish art.

The pretty girl from the Cantabrian Sea. Gijón offers everything a big city has to offer without forgetting the beauty of its tradition. The promenades by the sea, the Roman footprints, the Asturian palaces, the fishing district… make it a unique city.

Cudillero is one of the main fishing villages in the Cantabric Bay, where you can discover its tradition and delicious dishes of fish and seafood. Due to its peculiar orography, Cudillero has spectacular views from the lighthouse or the watchtower. A city that does not leave any visitor indifferent.

The Somiedo Natural Park spans five valleys: Saliencia, Valle del Lago, Puerto and Pola de Somiedo, Perlunes and Pigüeña, and its five rivers. It stands out for its incredible landscapes and the presence of animals such as the Brown Bear.

It has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 2012. It combines mountains of more than 2000 meters such as Pico del Fontan and Peña Ubiña, with deep valleys characterized by its beech forests.
